Nature Day at the HIVE

Nature Day at the HIVE

Saturday, April 11 | 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Woodland, CA

WOODLAND, California — Celebrate the wonders of pollinators and the natural world at Nature Day at The HIVE; a free, family-friendly community event on Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. in Woodland.

Hosted by Northern California’s largest varietal honey and mead tasting room and restaurant, this annual event brings together 15 local nonprofits, scientists, farmers, beekeepers, and environmental educators for a day of hands-on activities, workshops, and interactive learning.

Located at 1221 Harter Avenue, The HIVE features a pollinator garden, restaurant, and honey tasting room — the perfect setting to celebrate the insects and plants that sustain our ecosystems.

“Nature Day grew out of our appreciation for the pollinators that support us all,” says Shoshana Zeldner, Director of Brand Strategy at Z Specialty Food. “It’s a chance for the community to come together, learn something new, and have fun.” Josh Zeldner, Nectar Director, says, “Nature Day brings the full circle of honey to life at The HIVE. Visitors can see, smell, and touch the plants that produce the nectar bees gather—nectar that ultimately becomes the honey you taste.”
