Lawson Real Estate was founded in 1969 by James R. Lawson and specialized in real estate sales throughout all of Yolo County. Lawson Property Management was then formed in 1971 to complement the investment properties he sold to his clients.            

At present time, Lawson Property Management manages around 750 units in Yolo and Sacramento County.
